The Hörmann hand-held transmitter HSM 4, 40.685 MHz is a 4-button mini hand-held transmitter. It is compatible with all garage door operators with a frequency of 40.685 MHz, provided they are also from Hörmann. Hörmann hand-held transmitters do not work with products from other manufacturers.

Hand transmitter for Hörmann garage doors with 4 buttons

The dark gray housing of the Hörmann hand-held transmitter HSM 4, 40.685 MHz contains four light gray buttons arranged in a circle. They are set lower and do not protrude above the housing surface. This prevents a transmission signal from being accidentally triggered. The light gray button color is not a coincidence or due to the design, but indicates the transmission frequency 40.685 MHz. Hörmann has assigned its own color to all the different hand-held transmitter frequencies. This means that the correct transmitter type can be recognized at first glance.

The Hörmann hand-held transmitter HSM4, 40.685 MHz is programmed using self-learning coding. Due to its HomeLink compatibility, this hand-held transmitter can be programmed to a vehicle radio button from version 7. The transmission range of around 20 metres can be negatively affected by walls made of concrete, power cables and transmission masts.

Key ring: The Hörmann hand-held transmitter HSM 4, 40.685 MHz is suitable for practical attachment to a key chain. A matching key ring is optionally available for a small additional charge.

Important note: Hörmann hand-held transmitters are not compatible with other hand-held transmitter brands. Hörmann hand-held transmitters only work with Hörmann garage door openers!
